Chen Yameng studied oil painting at Sichuan Normal University and earned a master’s degree in Chinese painting at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. Rooted in ink, her practice explores personal experience, spatial memory and contemporary perception. Working between the restraint of traditional ink and the openness of mixed media, she uses tonal shifts, texture, layering and restructured forms to create a visual field between lived experience and inner perception.
